Melodic Martian|Episode 2 - The Portal
The Melodic Martian is based off of many different movies and tv shows that surrounded me as a child. A major influence was cartoons and the way that colors and drawing styles created a universe that lived inside of my mind allowing the characters to become more real and likable to watch.

Challenges
Using Ai to generate scenes is by far the most powerful tool for bring creative ideas to life. I find that generating what you want to see if the simple part of the project whereas actually animating the still pictures is a whole challenge. Once one type of shot is created, it can never be exactly reproduced again in that exact style.
Building the Spaceship Interface
I used both of these images to create the spaceship interface scene by masking out the window on the left and animating the second image to be a moving space station visible outside of the window.I also masked around every visible light and added a glow to the final composition and color graded accordingly.
